We all know how dangerous (not to mention expensive) texting while driving can be. It's quickly becoming the communication of choice among teens and adults alike, but there's definitely a time and place to send your messages - while behind the wheel isn't one of them.
State Farm Insurance agrees and developed its own Android app to deter avid texters from checking their screens while driving. Called On the Move (Free), this app (State Farm has dubbed it a "widget") acts as an auto-reply when you receive a text, alerting the texter that you're driving with a customized message. The good news is you can add more than one customized message and use the app when you're at the movies or at the gym, and automatically tell your friends you'll get back to them later without ever having to pick up your phone.
